Only a registered electrician should conduct electrical inspections reports or certificates, as they must be done by an accredited, competent individual. They will verify the electrics’ condition against the UK standard for electrical installations, BS 7671 – Requirements for Electrical Installations (IEE Wiring Regulations), to ensure that they are in good working order. An Electrician should be either NAPIT or NICEIC Qualified in order to be eligible to do the testing.
